Innovative & Sustainable Solutions for Low Wealth Communities in SC

We have released SCACED's 2024 Annual Report

2024 marked another transformative year for the community economic development (CED) sector in South Carolina. This year was particularly significant as it marked SCACED’s 30th anniversary—a milestone that celebrates three decades of dedication to fostering economic opportunities and empowering underserved communities across the state. Throughout the 2024 report, you will find a reflection of the remarkable achievements of the CED sector, made possible by the unwavering dedication of CED advocates, funders, and policymakers. The commitment and adaptability of the CED sector was evident as organizations embraced change, sought new opportunities, and implemented innovative solutions to address economic disparities. These efforts continue to strengthen the foundation for inclusive economic growth and empower those who have long been excluded from mainstream opportunities, particularly in rural and marginalized communities.
